We have been studying the causes of the American Revolution. The students have been really engaged in learning about the events that took place just miles away! We have gone over the French and Indian war, Taxes and protests surrounding taxation without representation, The Boston Massacre, and this week we talked about the Boston Tea Party. Today they acted out the events in a readers theater play. I also attached a link to the "Tea Party Song" that the class really enjoyed. At home, students are hopefully completing their research project on their Revolutionary American, we will present them this Thursday and Friday in class.

Story of Snow
This week we read a non fiction selection titled, "The Story of Snow". It talked about how snow crystals are formed and the patterns that they form in. As I was looking online at the snow forecast, the u local section of wcvb's facebook page had a gallery of all the perfect snowflakes people found today. The conditions had to be just right for formation! Wanted to share with the kids who hopefully have a new appreciation for snowflakes.
